To meet the increasing demands within the ever changing world of Health & Safety we can deliver to its clientele a range of consultancy services that provide flexible, cost effective and efficient solutions to satisfy your organisation’s specific requirements and concerns. We do this by means of a core contracted consultancy agreement. Additional services can be developed and charged separately, this allows us to respond to legislative and contractual driven demands placed upon the modern business world, this method of bespoke service design also gives us the flexibility to ensure we provide a tailor made safety and consultancy package.

With you we will write a Health & Safety Policy, compliant with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, tailored to your business. A hazard analysis will be carried out by means of a workplace inspection that will identify all work activities that expose your workforce to hazardous activities or substances this will enable us to assess the risks to health & safety and to identify the measures required to control these risks. This general health & safety risk assessment may identify the need for additional risk specific assessments and/or further management procedures. In order to help you comply with your statutory duties we will then review your Health & Safety Policy and all associated safety documentation on an annual basis during the contracted period.

The implementation of a Health & Safety Management System can assist a client in controlling workplace hazards and meeting statutory duties. We by working together with your organisation can produce a Health & Safety Management System which is based upon the Health & Safety Executive’s management model. The model includes a Health & Safety Policy, your plans to develop, implement and control all matters relating to the safety of your work based operations. Elements of the management system include General and specific Risk Assessment bespoke to your business and designed to be used in managing workplace health & safety.

If the unfortunate need arises how will you carry out an Accident Investigation?

Following a workplace accident, we can provide a timely, structured and appropriate accident investigation. The ability to establish the root cause of any accident is essential in order to comply with your statutory duties and to ensure the event cannot be repeated. We will provide an expert and rapid response. Site visits or telephone guidance, as appropriate, will be provided to effectively address the situation.

If you as an employer appoint contractors as part of your business undertaking you carry some responsibility for the actions of these contractors. We will assist in the contractor approval and due diligence checking process to reduce the employer’s liability and reduce the risk of workplace accidents.

Do you produce Safety Management systems?

After meeting and reviewing our Client’s needs, we produce safety management systems that provide Policies, Procedures and relevant forms that enable Businesses to comply with their legal H&S responsibilities and manage them on a day-to-day basis.

How often do you review our policies?

We review our Client’s H&S policies and Safety Management systems at least annually, but should legislation change that requires updating then this is done prior to the annual review.

How long does it take to get accreditations such as CHAS & Constructionline approved?

Depending on the accreditation grade and the documentation already held by our Clients we aim to get accreditation approval at the soonest possible time. Contact us, and after an initial discussion, we will give you an estimation of the timescale.
