Who is This Course
Aimed At?
Managers and operatives who are working in the construction, demolition and maintenance industries that may be exposed to asbestos during their work on existing of existing building stock (social & commercial). This would include electricians, plumbers joiners plus installers of alarm, sprinkler, heating and ceiling systems.
This course would suit managers, charge hands and supervisors who also manage maintenance and installation processes.

Aims & Objectives
Attendees should complete the service with an understanding of the relevant & current legislation, including employer and employee responsibilities, general awareness of asbestos within the working environment, and possible locations of asbestos and ACMs within building stock and installations.
The key messages focus on avoiding the risk of exposure and the required action on discovery.
