Who is This Course
Aimed At?
User’s supervisors and managers of retrieval and rescue kits. Also personnel working at height who may be required to aid the safe rescue of personnel who have had a fall arrested by fall arrest equipment as stated in the site rescue plan.

Achievement
A 3-year MTST certificate of training in fall rescue specific to a procedure or equipment type.
Delegate Experience & Renewals
Delegates must hold a current certificate for safe use and pre-use inspection of harnesses.
A delegate must be confident at height and be competent to work in the environment where a rescue may be needed.
Regular drills and controlled rescues are required to maintain competence.
PPE Required
For the practical session, wear protective footwear, a full-body harness with a fall arrest lanyard, suitable head protection, and suitable clothing and gloves.
