Who is This Course

Aimed At?

Personnel who are involved in erecting, inspecting, tying and dismantling system scaffold stair towers.

Course

Aims & Objectives

Attendees should complete the course having proved their:

  • An understanding of the current legislation
  • An understanding of the manufacturer’s information
  • An understanding of employer and employee responsibilities relating to scaffolding
  • Inspection procedures, reports and record-keeping requirements
  • Avoiding risks and reducing injuries

Achievement

A 3 year MTST certificate of Training for Stair Tower Erection (product specific)

Delegate Experience & Renewals

A working knowledge of scaffolding would be an advantage but is not essential. All delegates MUST be physically fit and able to carry out any practical scaffold assembly.

PPE Required

Protective footwear, a full-body harness with a fall arrest lanyard, suitable head protection, suitable clothing, and gloves are needed for the practical session. Each scaffolder requires a belt with holders for a level, spanner and hammer.

Participants can purchase a lite full body harness directly from us for enhanced safety and convenience during the course.
