More Than Safety Training (MTST) provides confined space training courses for workers, supervisors, and rescue personnel across the UK, delivered from our Chadderton, Oldham training centre or on-site at your premises. Whether your team needs basic awareness of confined space hazards or full practical entry and rescue certification, our courses are structured by risk level. This means you book only the training your role actually requires.
Confined spaces — manholes, silos, trenches, tanks, and similar restricted areas — carry serious risks including toxic atmospheres, oxygen deficiency, and difficult emergency access. Training is delivered in line with HSE guidance and the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997, covering safe entry, supervision, and rescue procedures depending on the level of risk involved.
